My R2980 County of Radnor 1908 Olympics set never did run smoothly.

I've just checked and i have the same. Also when i go to the world icon in the information page it comes up blank.

If it helps in windows the is a configurable magnifier. Under Setting chose "Ease of Access" and about half way down on the left is Magnifier. This is can be changed to give you a small window that magnifies. Worth playing around with.

You can use wireless control using the RailMaster app.

Have been able to replicate the fault so it must have been a glitch.

Hi I think there is a problem with Railmaster as my signals change from the layout screen to the operating screen. If I add a new signal it changes the display of one of the others. As i am in the process of changing my layout it is not a problem for me at the moment. If you would like to try and get it corrected then report it to Railmaster.

This evening running railmaster and starting up the app on my ipad a received a message on the ipad that the application was being updated. What difference it has made i have not been able to find out. Ducky1

I use them for playing background sound through an usb speaker. I have a carousel and I can play the music for it. Ducky1

Yes, but railmaster does not know. It must always send a loco address. Response from railmaster. "We'll check this and provide a fix for the next software release."

As an afterthought the tipper and conveyor icons do not know if it is a loco decoder fitted or an accessory decoder. It only knows an id and a controller. Therefore it must always send a loco address so controller B will never work unless selecting controller B sends a accessory decoder address. Also controller A will not work with an accessory decoder. Ducky

Hi Raf The only way to operate the tipper and conveyor on DCC is with a Loco decoder. As there was on option in the layout screen to use controller B I assumed it should work and railmaster was programmed to send the correct command. The only settings in the pop-up is to select the address and the controller. I will have to ask railmaster if controller B can be used. Ducky

They both have decoders fitted and have worked in railmaster previously with only one controller. They both work ok from the Elite. The pop-up box in the layout window gives the option to use controller A or B. The ini file entry is :- Tipper speed=80 Tipper timer=48 Conveyor speed=65 Controller A is an eLnk I am using the Elite for accessories so that i can control them away from the PC while trains are running. Hi I had the tipper and conveyor working previously but have not used them for some time. In the meantime i have updated railmaster a number of times (now on v1.74.5). Also i have added a second controller and so the tipper and conveyor work of controller B. The tipper and conveyor both work ok from the Elite which is controller B but do not work from railmaster. Before i contact railmaster can anybody confirm or dispute whether they have a tipper or a conveyor either working on controller A or B and in v1.74.

Hi I have an old Ipad on V9.3.6 that connects, downloads and runs ok. I have a new Ipad on V15.7 and that says it connected to Railmaster but does not load anything. It used to load ok in the past but has had a number of systems update lately. I have sent a report to Railmaster to ask them to look into this. Would not go amiss for you to report it as well to confirm it is not an isolated case Ducky

Hi Yes you can just use RailMaster to control your locos and manually operate your points and lights. You can then add the point and lights at a later date. You will have to have a layout of sorts on the screen even though you will not be using it so you may as well design your own for a later date. Ducky1

Thanks for the help. Scrolling the window works. I had already reported the problem to RailMaster and they said they would look into it for the next release.

I now have 23 locos loaded into RailMaster. When I open the Quick Select window I find that the bottom three have their description cut off. Is this just my computer or does anybody else find this and I should report it as a bug to RailMaster. Duck1

Yes RailMaster knows the speed of the loco and if it is going forward or backwards but it does not know if it is going left to right or right to left. To know this it would have to be told which way round the loco was put on the track. I am combining two of my hobbies Model railways and computer programming to write my own control programme for my Elite and this was one of the options I was considering if I ever got round to try a form of Loco detection.

Just tried to run the App on my Ipad and it came up with a message that it could not contact the server. Also tried to download the RailMaster installation file and was told the server was not available. These all worked fine in the past. Ducky1
