  1. i dont feel like using all this primer stuff and just the paint and water i usually like to keep it simple and less complicated my though being maybe the reason the paint finnishes rough is because there might be tiny bits of dry paint on my brush. just a thought
  2. i am sick and tired of the stupid starter kit paints especially humbrol 30 it is too thick for the model and when you try and apply the smallest bit of paint it is still a thick coat its stupid i have wasted £20 on these kits and for what? nothing but a stupid finish
  3. only thing with that is that the gunsight gets in the way of the canopy
  4. ok i believe there is a mistake on the instruction because i see people putting the cockpit behind the front guide on the fuslauge and it seems to fit better
  5. but just so i know for nextime do i sand the sides of the bulkhead? do you have a video? thanks. will
  6. i managed to get it in place with a bit of fiddeling i glued the pilot in before the cockpit bulkheads were placed in and basically line up the front groove and then the back one was sort of crudley glued in place but it looks ok
  7. its more the fact that the interior assembly was bending when the pilot was seated and it wouldnt line up with the grooves i probably should have explained better so my apologies
  8. yeah that would fix it but it was more the fact when the pilot is in the seat it pushes the rear section of the cockpit interior backwards so it wouldn't line up with the line that the groove sits in if that makes sence
  9. So I have finally placed the pilot in my new airfix spitfire only to glue the cockpI into The fuselage but the cockpit doesnt seem to fit
