  1. Wow Stu - what nice crisp paint work ! And the light weathering is nicely done. Chris
  2. Very nice James ! I haven't yet seen this kit "in person", but the buildups I've seen on this site (including yours) have been very impressive. Lots of detail that is well done. Chris
  3. Impressive job Man ! An intricate little helo that I rarely see built. Nicely done ! Chris
  4. Nice work Modeller ! Very nice surface finish - both the detail on the kit itself - and the work you've done in assembly and painting. Looking good so far ! Chris
  5. Nice work Jeff ! Seems to be a rather complicated build. You glasswork looks very crisp. A very impressive build. Chris
  6. Nice Work Ian, I agree with Elkhart. It even looks fast when it's parked ! Chris
  7. Very nicely done Richard ! And in an attractive scheme. I like the subtle panel line work you did there. It's a beauty ! Chris
  8. Very Nice Work HHGuy ! The all black night fighter looks kindof like a Blenheim in a Tuxedo The 1/48 version appears to be a very nice kit. It seems to have some extras that the1/72 does not. Does it come with the option to open the canopy top - or was that work that you did to make it open-able ? And does it come with the full engine detail that can be seen on the starboard side - or was that scratch-built or aftermarket pieces ? It looks great however you got there ! Chris
  9. Awesome Work Nigel ! Your close up pictures make it look to be 1/48 or larger. That is super fine work in 1/72. Chris
  10. Paul, Patrick, Ratch, Tony, and Gilbert, and All . . . . Excellent work. Some really nice models there - thanks for posting. Tony - are those 72 scale Dakotas ? Chris
  11. Nice work Landy ! The Typhoon kit is quite a gem - and the diorama spieces make it look nice and active. When I read the post title though - I thought this was going to be the 1/24 scale Typhoon. Chris
  12. Awesome T ! That's very fine interior work - but don't forget the toilet ! The gear bays look great. Looking forward to seeing the engines come together. Chris
  13. Very nice Peter, I like the paint work. The mottling on the E4 looks great !. Chris
  14. Very nice work Peter. Both Stukas and the diorama parts look very finely done. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the battle participants. Chris
  15. Very Nice Work T ! So many things of interest . . . The Wimpy looks like an excellent kit - seems to be very complex and detailed. The interior work is really nice and the exterior finish looks great as well - especially with the interesting textures of a wellington frame. The diorama looks very nice. I especially like the scale effect of the smaller ship and subs in the overhead shot - It makes the wellington look as if it is a meter or more above the diorama base. For very fine (almost invisible) support of hanging things, I've used something called "Invisible thread". It is something I picked up at a sewing supply shop. It is a very fine, transparent, strong thread that is used for attaching a certain kind of button on clothing. In order to hang the depth charges from the plane in a particular orientation, you would probably need to use two threads for each charge. Modelling realistic water is indeed a challenge - but you've done a convincing job there ! Chris
  16. Very nicely done T ! I like the interior work you've done - and the exterior . . . an attractive scheme for the Beav. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Chris
  17. Ah - I was hoping for the duo shots Ratch ! Very nicely done Sir ! Chris
  18. Nicely done Landy. I like the work you've done on Eric himself. Very nice spitfire too ! Chris
  19. A nice job with the brush painted mottling Landy ! Love the extra work put into opening the canopy too. Quality work there. Chris
  20. YES ! Carpe de Styrene T ! Those detail parts look excellent. I'll definitely be watching this one. That's the same paint scheme that I picked for my build. There is one regret I have about my build . . . My cutaway extended into the area of the Popeye nose art. I didn't want to lose the nose art - so I put Popeye on the starboard side of the nose. It's not accurate . . . But I just couldn't abandon him to the spare decal bin. Good Luck to you my friend ! Chris
  21.
