Spoke to them. The repaired train is now coming back to them on Monday, but I was not to know that or risk waiting for ages or having to keep calling for updates. They have issued a full refund. When I mentioned about the costs to return it, they retorted with points about track has marks where track pins were and they cannot now resell as new. My perception was that I should be just content with the full refund. Didnt expect such tactics but there we go. I should be happy with a full refund, minus £9.20 costs to me. I suppose £9.20 for peace of mind is worth it?
