  1. May the forth be with our credit cards... Special one day offer for TT120 ... LMS 'Princess Leia' club special... 🚂🤖🤖🤖😂😂😂
  2. BR Steam and Green... Apart from the 43..
  3. Getting back to Model World Birmingham, and all of @PeachyTT120's promises of the 'Bright New Future' which I really do hope will come to fruition, the Elephant in the Room, for me at least, was so far in this thread I haven't heard anything regarding Peco's forward plans in TT120. Did I miss something? 🤔🚂🚃 or are there more 7 planks on the way. I want some of the Colmans but can't find any in my local stockists.
  4. Back to naming the town, taking into account previous posts, how about 'Middle Hootten'? It's got the prerequisite 'Middle' a HO, an OO, a TT, and an N....🙄🏢
  5. Thanks Derriff, feeling much brainier this morning 😊🚃🚃
  6. I bought a couple of continental coaches from Ebay to test clearances. It's not a very scientific way of doing things, but I can be pretty sure that if they don't crash into things as they go round, then my British railways stock should make it round too.
  7. Re the Dummy Diesel question, I'm sure some of the 3D printing companies do 3D printed 'body shells (and maybe bogie frames) ' to which you could add your own wheels and NEM pockets. Maybe a way to double head? Not sure what they would cost or how much 'fettling' would be required.
  8. I've tried reducing the 00 paper buildings that I have downloaded by 67% when printing them out. The only problems that I have encountered are that the internal lights are dimmer and the doors Squeak on their little paper hinges. And before anyone goes into a radius one spiral, yes, this is just meant as joke. 🙄
  9. If I get the Green one will I be helping to save the planet?
  10. Got mine about an hour ago.. Checked on 3rd rad.. Very tight.. Took bogies of and fitted thinest washer I could find... Couldn't get bogies back on, so that's not going to work 😑... Took washers off and refitted bogies... Set up two long straights and. 3 3rd rads on kitchen table and made a cup of tea... pushed the wagon back and forth over the transition about 70 to 100 times, turning it round every so often, whilst drinking afore mentioned cup of tea. Now runs sweet as a nut.. No fetterlin required... just needs running in. 🙂🚃🚃 Hope this is useful. (May not work in every case, Ts & CS apply 😂)
  11. Just had confirmation that my Hornby package will arrive between 1 30 and 2 30 and will be marked HMRC.... Hornby Model Railway Consignment.. Ohh dear... No secrets... 🙄😂
  12. I'll give the 'thicker washer' a try when mine arrives. Will report as to whether it works or not.
  13. Would a thicker washer work? Or would the coaches ride too high?
  14. As everything else in Hornby TT120 is of high quality, then it would be reasonable to expect the advertising medium to reflect that quality. I would definitely be willing to pay for a good, durable and well made catalogue that would stand the tests of time.
  15. Just checked the 'Blog' and even there the TT4004TXSM is described as having "a, (singular), HM7000 decoder and a, (again singular), sugar cube speaker. Probably from where the first miss information originated. Shod proof reed every fing befour pub lishing 🙄😂
