Advice on Starter kits to get.

I'm looking to get a First model tank, I have a Tight budget of about £25 and I'd like to here what some people who are experienced with tanks would recommend,

Get something you’re interested in with a low parts count.

Within your budget you could get the Tiger 1 / Sherman Firefly 'Gift set'.

Its basically the same as two 'Starter sets' but with everything in one box.

Any of the three newer tank kits; the Tiger 1, Sherman Firefly or Cromwell, are easy to put together and for your budget you could get any two of them

I'd agree the Tiger 1 / Firefly "gift set". 2 decently modern kits, paint, brushes and glue, spares (don't throw away parts you don't use) and even in budget.

I wouldn't bother with a starter set, get the same kit as a seperate kit e.g A01071B (1/72 Spitfire MK1a), and spend some more of the budget on flat brushes, liquid cement, primer from a hardwear of car parts store and a couple of relevant paints, maybe ammo or revell. You can find relevant paint colour conversion charts online. It will cost more initially but you will bypass things like tube glue and starter set "paint".

Agree with the above comments, Tiger 1 and the Sherman firefly.

I've done them both and they are great kits.
