wapples
Hi team. Yes I appreciate the note regarding naming images but that’s why I’m here I don’t even know where to start with this one and not being from the UK I can only imagine London BR station illuminated platform signal to tell driver they good to leave the station. I wanted to model or try and recreate something similar but can some have a peep at the image below and tell me what is this? Cheers in advance for your assistance. 96RAF
How odd as it actually has to be on to tell you it is off.
ntpntpntp
According to wikipedia it's simply called an Off Indicator, used on platforms to confirm the main signal shows clear. Rana Temporia
I am sure someone made a working version of these along with other illuminated platform signs but it was a long time ago since I’ve seen them advertised.
ntpntpntp
According to an RMWeb page I found, there is a 3D print out there which someone used with SMD LEDs. https://www.rmweb.co.uk/blogs/entry/21941-off-indicators-ra-repeaters-platform-screens-oo-gauge/
