dominic_helliwell
I love the idea of old racing cars, so I go along with the Bugatti from the 1930s. I would also love to see the Jaguar SS100 and the Mercedes Benz SSK from the same era.As an essential addition to the fantastic collection of classic touring and GT cars, I would also like to see the 1970s Aston Martin DBS and the Jaguar XJS and XJ12. Richard001
Hello All,I would like to see the VW VOLKSWAGEN BUS CAMPER VAN in the samba bus or Deluxe microbus style. That's the one with the skylight windows in the roof. Also has a canvas sunroof.Richard
PaulBoddy54
I think you could have a huge following for older British fast back sports cars like the E-type Jaguar or the MGB- GT as a youngster in the sixties I always loved seeing them on the road. A 1966 312 Formula one car in the legends series would be bliss! One of the last Ferraris that Scalextric made was a rally version of the 308GTB (C2974); with some clever craft knife work and a respray it could be converted in to a Magnum p.i. car..Dave
Paul W
In line with the BTCC theme, how about some classic saloon car racers from its predecessor, the BSCC? We already have Frank Gardner's Camaro (in two versions!), the Britax Mini (a bit of a cheat her as it should be a Mk II), and several Cortinas and Escorts. An easy one would be Gardner's 1970 Mustang, which was an ex TransAm car, already in the Scalextric range. Then, a works Mini Cooper in the classic green and white stripe. But the two I really want are a Mk II Jaguar and a Ford Galaxie from the early sixties. What a 2 car set they would make!

gdoti
I like the look of the 2017 releases from Scalextric and will be investing in a number of them (the ARC pro platinum set looks awesome with some brilliant choices for the cars packaged within), But if there was one thing I hoped for that's absent it's a Vantage GTE in Aston Martin Racing's current colours.I'm following the AMR team in the WEC series and in particular the LMP 1 competitors (esp Porsche and Toyota Gazoo) to go along with the Ford GT's would be great with the Aston's above. meOne
Hello from Switzerland, most slotcar fans in europe are men grewed up in the 70s/80s. American road movies and actors like "Two-Lane Blacktop" (James Taylor 1971) - "Cannonball/Carquake" (David Carradine 1976) - Cannon Ball Run II (Burt Reynolds 1980) etc. influenced us and made us love the "American Way of Life". So why not?- 1955 Chevrolet Big-Block 454 in grey and his oponent with the yellow GTO- Pontiac TransAm (Firebird) - Dodge Charger - Chevrolet Corvette - De Tomaso Pantera - Lincoln Continental- Chevrolet Van - Lamborghini Countach - Ferrari 328 - Farrah Fawcett with a tree ... 😉- Cars from "Fast and Furious" - "TrippleXXX" - Hot Rods from the "Foose" - "Gas Monkeys" - "Overhaulin" Think it over and sleep on it ...but don't forgett to have a good time and keep smilin'.Roger
john_niser
Dave,I am not sure if they did a re-tool of the 4 1/2 - litre Bentley, Alfa Romeo 8C-2300, Bugatti type 59, Auto Union C type. but here are some photos of the cars/media/tinymce_upload/280abcba50cb95b59a86cced93cfeec0.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/88725babf644e00e0d5f5fcb3ba18a2a.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/8bf5791ffa8fb16b19e718b13541511b.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/7557521362ff76221227cd684d17d25a.jpgI totally agree with the remake of the Aston Martin DBR1. /media/tinymce_upload/60c763cda509efe95c1055e08b40a5b3.jpgI am ready to buy these immediately before production starts. BigDave77
I completely agree with Roger from Switzerland above that most scalextric collectors and racers are fully grown men that grew up watching classic films and TV. How about the Back To The Future Deloreon or a retool of the Knight Rider Trans Am? Id also love to see an A-Team van and a Smokey and the Bandit Firebird. Slotcarseveryday
Hello from the United States of America,I would like to see the following from Scalextric sometime in the future-2017 BMW M2 coupe - Long Beach Blue metallic! Kelpieboy
Oh how much I agree with Warguy9780 Norm Beechey's Monaro was a classic vehicle and I would add the Bond/Roberts HT Monaro GTS 350 (Bathurst 1969 winner) in with it.I would almost cry if they made a Goss/Bartlett Ford Falcon XA GT (Bathurst winner in 1974 ), one of the truly great wet weather drives of all time and one of my favourites. I know they made a Goss 1972 Ford XY GT HO Phase 3 ( I already got it) so maybe a winning car might be the way to go. I would buy 2 of them , one to race and one to just look at,I cant believe they havent made a Peter Brock LJ Torana GTR XU-1 ( Bathurst 1972 winner). This car is legendary in Australia and would seriously sell like the proverbial , even diehard Ford enthusiasts like myself have the ultimate respect for this little car. Like the Goss XA , I would buy 2 of them.Other vehicles I would wish for are just driver/livery variations of the XA , XB , XC Fords and driver/livery variations of the LJ , L34 , A9X and SLR Toranas.Maybe a series of Bathurst winners fron 1969 to 1980 would be an idea. Quick Vic
I love those Sundays where I unpack multiple boxes and enjoy lots of cars together. As my collection grows I find myself getting out multiple cars in series which I really enjoy. To this end, please let's have:Andy Rouse's Kaliber sponsored RS500Porsce 911 RSR Le MansAston DBR1 And what about some other 80s DTM cars to go with the Tic Tac M3? Merc 190, Audi 100?And what about some earlier touring cars. Re tooled Rover, Capri, and how about a TWR XJS.And avoid duplicating numbers, Recent Bentleys have several #84 cars which my OCD dendancies struggle with.
