david_watts1
@Peter, Yep, that's the reversing rod, stick it back on with the tiniest blob of superglue, cocktail sticks are handy for the application.
PeterM67
Thanks @Matt, @David. No issues with the WW other than the reversing rod so I will look to stick it back on. I may invest in a high brightness bench lamp first though so I can see that I am doing smiley
david_watts1
@Peter. I have 2 lamps with daylight LEDs. A portable one and a mains one with a magnifying glass. They are extremely useful. Really need some new glasses too.eyeglasses
Rallymatt
To aid close to work, I popped along to my optician and got a slightly stronger prescription to my regular reading glasses. Works really well for me, but best to not move about with them still on! 🤣
PM 60
Hmm still absolutely nothing. I'm still waiting for my Easterner set ordered at the beginning of March. I've been in contact with Hornby who have still not given me any firm date as to when I might receive it. After much anticipation to begin my adventure with this new hobby and to involve my grandsons, I've just become disillusioned with it all. unamused

Steve-353799
I've started to order a load of stuff nowadays. So I was a bit puzzled when I recieved this impressive box from Hattons. It says on the side Impact Protection and Fragile Do Not Bend! I thought whatever could it be? I opened it to find a load of bubble wrap. And this tiny box of foam nails LOL joy Talk about over kill sweat_smile
LTSR_NSE
2 Corgi 1:120 die-cast models (a castle & a streak.) These will initially just be static ‘exhibits’ - but may be motorised in the future.
BritInVanCA
DCC concepts Power Base. Hoping to follow in Peachy’s footsteps and use it for access up the viaduct to the mine area. Of course I really need a steam shunter for this but I might add it to my A3 for now just to test it out.

Rallymatt
Steve, you want to get onto the garage about that Morris Minor van, it’s usually the front trunnions that fail but seems like you have snapped both rear springs! 😁

PeterM67
Today I received some additional track ordered in the current double points promotion. I also received a box of 10 of the new double length straights not in the promotion.I think I now have enough track to try out some reasonably complex setups on my dining table - when my wife permits me laughingSadly I cannot do anything permanent until we move to a bigger house at which point I should have a dedicated room all to myself. In the meantime I just get to experiment occasionally.
