Fazy
That explains a lot. Golden age, do make some beautiful models, but boy you better have deep pockets.

Jimbo1707820979
Hi Dynax. I stand by what I said earlier - it's smashing. You wouldn't see much behind, unless you had the front seats! The front seats were probably monopolised by children--- and cats 😀. Anyway, as we mostly remember, people were much shorter in those days and the 'beaver tail' front was doubtless to protect against the hot English sun (which we also seem to remember !). VESPA
I just got a great bargain from Sheffield, a B12 61576 for £124. There are some good offers today in Widnes. It looks like a bit of a clear out.
dynax
had a reply email from GAM, and there are 4 very small very well hidden screws in the chassis of the beavertail coach, so i won't have to dremel it to fit figures and lighting 😆

NWR-Gordon-4
No, I am not cornering the market in Thomas. I am trying to get all the Thomas models, that I can possibly get my paws on. These recent wagons are what I have wanted for a while. Got them each for not a lot of money, on eBay, in auctions, all are boxed and brand new. Bulver
On Friday, my friendly parcels postman delivered 2 Dapol ‘Flying Bananas’ one GW and the other BR (WR). Mine’s The BR version, the other I purchased for a relative. highly delighted with mine, which I DCC’d straight away, very smooth if a bit noisy , will give it a proper run-in and hopefully the noise will reduce!
