Why do I get the feeling that when we do finally see some new stock that it going to be very, very expensive. I want the LMS, early BR and late BR coaches (anything era 3,4 and 5) plus wagons and the locos.cold_sweat
The Arnold Station Building, £29.75 delivered, Bargain. It actually comes in two bits so you can have them as farm house and cottage maybe. @Chris, you might want to run a track rubber over that to help the train run better.
Personally I hope we see the era 3/4 and 5 LMS coaches and Duchesses before April, but the longer they take to arrive the longer I get to keep my money (or 20,000+ pointsblush)
When I was on analogue I used a Gaugemaster DS unit with no issues at all. I swear by them for DC use. The lifetime guarantee alone is worth the cost and it's valid even if you buy second hand as long as the security tabs etc are in place.
Has any one tries using a small Balsa wood block instead of a rubber or the Noch 60159 / Gaugemaster GM3910901 axle hung cleaners? It looks like Roco will be making a wagon Roco 6680005 Gauge TT ROCO Clean rail cleaning trolley from DR modellbahnshop-lippe.com Also Tillig Tillig 95291 Gauge TT Schienenreinigungswagen der DR, Epoche III modellbahnshop-lippe.com
I'd definitely be getting in touch with Gaugemaster and get them to check the controller, from your description it sounds like some sort of power spike when you switch on the controller. Six or seven faulty motors is just silly, it's got to be the controller or track.
I would suggest you contact West Hill Wagon Works and see when they intend doing them in TT. They have them for OO, so it's only a question of scaling them.
@Skelton I use Hunt magnetics. I have found that it is easier to change them if you completely remove the coupling assembly and trim the end you insert into the nem pocket, only by a gnat's whisker, but they work a treat. I used the standard 'close' ones for this.
All I know is that the models are well detailed and I can have an extensive layout in a small area and they aren't as fiddly as N. So do I care about an odd mm here or there. No. I love TT:120 and hope it goes from strength to strength and more manufacturers jump on the band wagon. PS I wish they'd make the buffer shanks overscale so they are less delicate, I've had to replace many buffers in OO, I don't want to start in TT.
