  1. Edit with more detail….. https://www.dccconcepts.com/product/ae-model-2-wire-stay-alive/
  2. https://dccconcepts.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=9687385558a1289cf97083ac7&id=b534654d64&e=9cd67a1f54 is this any help?
  3. I would advise sealing both sides of baseboards. I used coloured undercoat, as others, for the top and sides and white undercoat underneath making it easier to see when wiring and fitting "devices".
  4. Adding insult to injury, the union flag at the front of the loco is upside down with all its connotations.
  5. @Tony57 are these of interest? https://railsofsheffield.com/blogs/news/oo-consett-iron-ore-wagon-packs
  6. I find these useful. They are magnetic and have nut drivers suitable for the nuts on loco con rods. https://www.dccconcepts.com/product/screw-nut-driver-set/
  7. This from a previous thread may help…… https://d28lcup14p4e72.cloudfront.net/228673/7490681/program%20track%20SW%20PowerCab.pdf
  8. TMC are your go to people. They renamed a Britannia to my Dad’s name, renumbered it to his birth date and changed the shed code to 32a. There is a menu on the TMC website where you van choose all manner of customisation.
  9. Shaka, have a look here…. https://www.modelu3d.co.uk/product-category/finescale-figures/ragged-victorians/
  10. For repainting hornby teak effect, this may be of use….. https://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=51755 and this…… https://www.phoenix-paints.co.uk/teak I have tried the first method. A steady hand is required. Not Gresley but Thompson coaches.
  11. May I? http://bluerailways.co.uk/
  12. I should add that these are the older semaphore signals, not the "train tech" variety.
  13. https://www.modelrailforum.com/threads/controlling-dapol-signals.43930/ @wapples This may help. I believe bulleidboy may have had some involvement so appologies if I’m treading on toes. Richard Johnson of DCC concepts is the author and I recently spoke with him on his forum on the same subject. I have tried this and it works. I have used a 9v battery on a test rig to power the signal.
  14. @cw I found this by first searching eBay "Dapol coal wagon" then searching "Sutton Manor" . Just the one found but cheap? and a bus…. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384909930450?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338722076&customid=&toolid=10050
  15. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374092862932?hash=item5719ac15d4:g:G1AAAOSwJ~digZOS voila!
  16. Whilst searching for something else I came across this eBay seller that may be of interest to forum members. I have no connection with the seller nor have I used the site. https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/antwalte?_trksid=p2047675.m3561.l2563 I hope this can help.
  17. @Deem have I missed something? Wasn’t the OP asking for a review of a Digitrax product? While my ,all but brief, review was offered in order to help make a decision the topic seems to have veered away from the original question. Has anybody anything else to offer in praise or otherwise of the Digitrax DCS52?
  18. @Deem we use Digitrax DCS 51 on our club layout and at home. For the price it has lots of useful facilities. Separate programming connections ( two and four digit loco addresses) , ability to switch points ( a bit fiddly with several key presses required ). You can connect two non DCC ( smooth DC ) controllers to control two other trains. It has 3amp capacity. In short I would recommend it. Plenty of reviews on Line. DCS 52 has a different display and illuminated keys.
  19. This may be helpful. Gleaned from another forum https://d28lcup14p4e72.cloudfront.net/228673/7490681/program%20track%20SW%20PowerCab.pdf
  20. @96RAF Bure Valley shop is at Aylsham, not too far from Dereham without needing to travel that Nasty D**** Road. I too prefer Anne’s company!
