  1. I might be wrong, but in the Track Plans section of the catalogue the Diamond Crossings look like they are labelled incorrectly. They seem to have the right numbers for the RH crossing and the LH crossing, but have swapped the pieces. Could be me.
  2. Begs the question though, if the TT8027 is the same as the TT8028 but, with the addition of a capacitor......how come it's £2 cheaper. I cut the capacitor out on a TT8001 and one of my locos started stuttering down the track with the throttle on the DCC controller set to 0. Replaced it with a TT8029 and had no issues at all. Could be me.
  3. For those who aren't in the know and who are Mac users wanting to use track planning software 'there is an app for that'. As per most varieties on Windows the 'Express' version allows you to lay 50 track pieces, for more complex layouts you need to purchase the 'Pro' version. There is also an IOS app which allows you to browse other users creativity to get ideas. Both Hornby OO and TT:120 scales are covered. The website for more information is as follows:- https://www.railmodeller.com/home-railmodeller.html To purchase on the Apple App Store:- https://apps.apple.com/fr/app/railmodeller-pro/id952380304?l=en-GB&mt=12 I am no way affiliated with the software or with Apple. This is just a heads up.
  4. Hopefully this will help:- https://www.railmodeller.com/news-en.html Railmodeller Express for Mac, it's on the App Store here. It has the Hornby TT:120 library. It is compatible with Intel and M series processors. https://apps.apple.com/fr/app/railmodeller-express/id1008811516?l=en-GB&mt=12 There is also an APP for IOS which lets you browse layouts. It's pretty good, there is a lite version for uptown 50 track pieces and then, like Anyrail, a paid version. For some reason he hasn't updated it with the double straight piece yet.
  5. Hmmm, the double straight has disappeared of the site!
  6. "Even with the offer, and the cheaper N18 boards available atm it doesn't save me anything over waiting for the DCC fitted loco." Cheaper n18 boards! What am I missing?
  7. flushed Now don't I feel silly. Maintenance sheet, did not think of that. In fact to be honest, did not even look at it. worried Thanks for that.
  8. Hi peeps, Could be a dopy question but I've done tons of searches and come up with a big fat 0. Are there any instructions, on line guides or videos of where to put the supplied detailing pack on the corresponding loco and how to. Thanks in a advance
  9. Try Modelux, some nice looking stuff. His TT offerings are increasing all the time. I haven't tried it myself as my layout has stalled (pending wife approval). https://www.modelux.store/tt-gauge-1
  10. Doublestraight If that's true you can bet that will sell faster than a fast thing what is fast. smirk
  11. tt certainly seems the case on the continent. Modellbahnshop-lippe in Germany have stock, not of everything granted, but they do have stock and some of the latest releases such as Trigo and the 08.
  12. I've just noticed that Scalescenes Partner 'Chrisinden' now does laser cuts card in TT:120. Just enquiring about it now as it needs shipping to France. smiley
  13. Thanks for that, good to know. Good job I didn't plan on building an RL then (he says dismantling it).
  14. A few if's here but, 1) If the RL is not to be used as a storage yard and, 2) If you are using the Hornby HM7000 system as control and, 3) Just using the RL for locomotives, Would not the use of the Hornby Power Bank HM7070 with a small section of isolated track on the RL simplify this? If using the RL to turn around a complete rake and engine, then as long as it's not scenic (lights going out in carriages) then it would work also.
  15. I can second that. The first shipment in February took 9 days to get to France. I got notification of my second shipment last Saturday, arrived yesterday. 3 working days, very impressive.
