This is probably a request from the minority but,,,, I'd very much like to see cars replicating some of the dirt track racers such as modified, late model, and open wheel sprint cars with, and without, wings....  I do enjoy the stock cars already offered....

My requests would be:

Factory chipped version of the classics/legends. These are prohibitively difficult to disassemble and convert to digital.

Versions of the SR F1 in 2018 liveries with Halo. Perhaps release 2-4 of different teams each year.

Lambo Miura. (Maybe that's just me) :D

In line with the BTCC theme, how about some classic saloon car racers from its predecessor, the BSCC? We already have Frank Gardner's Camaro (in two versions!), the Britax Mini (a bit of a cheat her as it should be a Mk II), and several Cortinas and Escorts.

An easy one would be Gardner's 1970 Mustang, which was an ex TransAm car, already in the Scalextric range.

Then, a works Mini Cooper in the classic green and white stripe.

But the two I really want are a Mk II Jaguar and a Ford  Galaxie from the early sixties. What a 2 car set they would make!

This years BTCC winning Honda Civic in Orange Halfords livery please.

I'd love to see some movie cars like the 1957 Plymouth fury in christine or a selection of the cars from the iconic film American graffiti. Also it would be nice to see some old British classis the triumph vitesse or herald s type jag.

Pretty much any Triumph is up there in my books. You could easily make the Le Mans Spitfire and GT6 out of similar molds (bonnets/hoods were different and there is massive filler cap on the tail of the racing Spitfire).

The Spitfire and Stag share a back end (albeit different sizes).

I cant believe Richard Petty's charger is not available.  That is the premier racing vehichle.  I met him once in the airport in Atlanta. I will never forget it.  Tall thin and super cool with a big black cowboy hat. Classic racing legend.  There is none bigger.  The colors on his cars are beautiful.  Please make them.

I'm very happy with the classics that Scalextric have brought into the range. But I'd really like to see a Jaguar Mk2. After all, it won a lot of races, several touring car championships, the saloon car section of the Tour de France Automobile ... . For many, it is the classic sports saloon. I appreciate that it's not easy to model; many of the scratch built versions have the curves of the nose completely wrong.

But, please, Scalextric, give it a try.

Not wishing to monopolise, I'm sure others have their suggestions.

Between 1953 and 1980 the Triumph competitions department produced more than 150 'works' competition cars for race and rally. These included TR2, TR3 and TR3A, the TR3S, TRS and Conrero race cars, Herald and Vitesse, TR4, 2000, Spitfire and GT6R, 2.5 PI, Dolomite and Sprint, TR7 and TR7 V8. In addition they prepared Standard Eight, Ten, Pennant, and Phase III Vanguard for competition

From Scalextric, we have had Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Fords, BMWs, Austins, VWs, Lotus, Mclaren, Williams and Renaults -but not one, single TRIUMPH! The last one was the TR7 in Sprint and V8 formats back in the 80s - and before that a TR4 in the 60s.

Come on Scalextric, please can we have the TR7V8 - at least?

I will admit to a slight bias here as I do actually own and run a TR7V8 - at a humble 155BHP, not the 300BHP monster run by the likes of Tony Pond!

I totally get!

The Le Mans Spitfires actually won their class in '65, overshadowed slightly by the bigger sports cars.

Get Graham Robsen's book about the Works Triumphs. Great read!

Scalextric did do a TR7 many years ago and they pop up from time to time.

There is also a TR4 that commands high prices.

Scalextric's sister brand Airfix still offers the TR4 as a kit.

A lot of those cars are available as 1/43 scale miniatures but rarely in 1/32 and practically not at all in 1/24 and 1/18...
