Pendragon Sailing
Not sure if this is the correct forum, but has anyone been successful in Reading/Writing to a Zimo decoder (in this case a MX617N 6 pin) using JMRI Decoder Pro? I cannot seem to get mine to recognise the decoder and keep getting an Error Code 308 (‘no decoder ACK Pulse’). I’m using a Digitrax DSC210+ and DT602 handset.Thoughts welcome
P-Henny
A day later and no reply so far. Your question may be a bit too focused on non Hornby products to get a meaningful response here. You might be better joining and posting on the JMRI Forum.https://groups.io/g/jmriusersThis JMRI Forum thread might provide a clue:https://groups.io/g/jmriusers/topic/96647068#213096
Brew Man
ColinB uses a lot of Zimo decoders so he might be able to help if/when he reads your post.
96RAF
JMRI Decoder Pro requires a definition to be lodged in the decoder database, else it will not be recognised. Try the DCC section of RMWeb for more chance of assistance. This was done when TTS was launched.
Pendragon Sailing
Thanks Chaps,Appreciate that this was probably not the best place to ask this particular question, given the topic.I’ve posted on RMWeb too, and have had some suggestions on how to resolve. That said, I’ve not cracked this one yet 🫤I’ll be interested to hear if ColinB has any insights on this. All the best
