  1. 'fraid not Graskie, two different things. Concorde was streamlined, VC10 was air smoothed.
  2. Try making the check rails a bit longer with short pieces of rail to lead the wheels in the right direction.
  3. I have four sets at the moment, shortly to be five. Three are on the main lines and one in the sidings. The new one is going in a siding. Never had a problem with them except early on one was troublesome so I changed it for a pco one.
  4. Latest acquisition is a set of curved left hand points pco and a small engine shed.
  5. That's better, my last entry has created another page and all is well.
  6. I can't read this thread any more, since Vespa did the mega link the thread is minute and only on the very left of the screen. If I want to add something I have to go to the page before Vespa's entry.
  7. Oh dear Vespa what have you done? I think your link is a trite too long.
  8. The Modelmaster renumbering/naming kit has the numbers on a green or clear background. The green version covers the old number so you don't need to remove it.
  9. Is it just name and numbers you need RDS or is there more to it.
  10. I shall await your decision Graskie. I did find one with sound on google converted by Olivia's.
  11. Sorry Graskie you always say you only run DCC with sound and that you have a couple of rebuilt Royal Scots. I put 2 and 2 together and made 5.
  12. I really fancy a rebuilt Scot but whenever I think about it they seem to be out of stock everywhere or only available DCC with sound. One day I'll get my timing right.
  13. Hornby haven't made tender drive for quite a while and I dont think Graskie runs old locos.
  14. Having said on another thread that I don't have any Hornby plank wagons, I do now. Somebody bought me the British Insulated & Cables Ltd wagon as a belated birthday present. A change of couplings and a bit of weathering it looks pretty good.
  15. Just mix a pin head size blob of each Graskie. Get a little tub of Tacky Wax. Brilliant stuff. Great for sticking loco crews in the cab, steps etc. things can be removed if required and the wax cleaned off.
  16. You don't have to mix the whole of the tubes Graskie just and equal amount from both. Uhu isn't much good for plastic.
  17. It's not unusual for a train to run round for 30 minutes and then a wagon will suddenly fall over.
  18. Uneven track causes all sorts of problems whether taken with a pinch of salt or a dash of pepper.
  19. A driving wheel jumping up is normally due to the curve being too tight or the join between to sections of track not being straight.
  20. I agree it is usually a loco problem. Good point about a tight bogie. As it seems OK in one direction it would appear it is sticking more one way than the other. Always worth checking the track before taking a hammer to the loco.
