  1. He was a very approachable person, always had time for a chat when he was manning the Hornby stand.
  2. You say 'no thanks' are required. So if LC says 'no thanks' does he get it or doesn't he?
  3. Postman Prat said: Glad to hear that you're ok. Without you who would I be rude about! Me
  4. Thanks PJ. I'll have a look at Ally Pally later this month.
  5. I wish you hadn't told me all that. I have street and yard light but owing to your comments think I will add LEDs inside some of the buildings.
  6. Fishing scene is great PJ. I have a bloke fishing on my canal. I did have line on the rod but it didn't look right. Fishing line is pretty fine stuff and at a scale of 1:76 pretty much invisible. Think I shall have to go fishing again soon, haven't been for over a year. How much is a day ticket on your layout?
  7. aj you'll soon finish your layout. Generally it takes about 50 years to be able to say that's it, finished. Then you start again.
  8. ajwhix said: Hi. This is my attempt at a train set http://s1311.photobucket.com/user/ajwhix/library/ Looks brilliant aj. Nothing wrong with that at all. Attempt makes it sound like it's not very good, it is good.
  9. Very nice Doc, you've packed a lot in. When you've hade enough of the prototype Deltic throw it in this direction please, carefully.
  10. RDS said: @walkingthedog I have just been able to view your layout after joining that forum specially. What a long winded process it was, not helped by the fact that I could not answer the Anti-spam questions! Anyway, it was well worth it to see the work you have put into it. Thanks Thanks RDS, it's a good forum though.
  11. Good point PJ. I'll start again. Now where's my calendar.
  12. I'm just in the process of rearranging them in alpha chaotic order. Should be ready by the weekend.
  13. 256 at the last count PJ. Had a bit of a deluge of queries last night.
  14. Meant to add that he said what was going to be produced has changed after a eureka moment, so my guess is that anything that has been hinted at in the past is probably in the bin.
  15. If you read the interview with Simon Kohler you will see that he said it will be available when the patent process has been completed. It would be wrong for Hornby to give any details until this procedure has been signed and sealed. You were really asking Hornby 'how long is a piece of string?'. He makes it quite clear that they have to get things done correctly and when this has been done they will be in a position to give an indication as to its availability.
  16. You were missed Fishy. Or maybe PJ was enjoying your absence. Don't think so though.
