Very true, Darrenmbn. Getting the layout itself built and contructed is more important than by buildings and ther scenery products.

@atom3624
I like the Hornby RailRoad Class 9F's. They are well detailed, but not too much that I am afraid of holding it and damging it. I have one, in the form of Murdoch. I like all of the detailing of him and there's more detail on the model than there is on him from the TV series, so that's a plus in my eyes! 😉 😀
Also, I don't mind the under-cab pipework.

A pre-order of the following:
x1 Hornby Skaledale R9878 RAC Kiosk
I forgot that I pre-ordered Hornby Skaledale R9878 RAC Kiosk and it arrived this morning, from Hatton's Model Railways. It's very well made and painted, as you can see:

It accompanies Hornby Skaledale R9866 AA Kiosk very well, as shown below here:

Yes, you must atom3624. My layout is only decent enough to contain a large express locomotive and 5 express coaches. That's it. Any longer and it will intrude a corner.

That's Rail Zeppelin is the same as Hugo, from Thomas & Friends, WTD. I have posted an image of him, but as it's gone off to be approved, you won't be able to view it until tomorrow (31/01/2019), most likely.

Darrenmb, that is the oddest locomotive I have ever seen, if you can call it a locomotive! 😆
I have neevr seen one those Tri-ang Hornby R.752 'SPACE BATTLE!' rocket locomotives before. It looks very toy-like. I don't want one, but the price also confuses me, a little. Is it really worth £80.00? How rare is it?

Sarahagain was replying to me. There was quote in this person‘s comment? That means I must reply, otherwise that is being rude. Anyway, I don’t reply in every topic. I may never post again, as I am getting rather tired of all these comments aimed at me. I don’t see this place as somwhere friendly anymore. 🤔 😢

That is in the 2019 catalogue, but it's not a new release. I think it was released in 2017. In fact, it may have been in 2016. I can't remember which year, without pulling the old catalogues out, off of the shelf! 😆 😉 😀

All I said that I don't want an Amazon Alexa and then I got moaned at. How is this reasonable thing to be moanded at? Does everyone have to have an Alexa? 🤔

OK, I will have a look for it.
UPDATE:
I'm sorry but the only time I listen to music is when I'm driving my car. Also, I do not ever listen to the radio as when they never music that I like and I also do not need a timer. If I do need a timer, I have one on my phone and tablet.

Yes, I did. I didn't neccessarily assume that WTD has one. I though he could bringing up ideas what it could be used for.

Do you have one Brian? If so, what do you use it for?

M-R, let me guess. The powers are SWMBO? Another case of "what have I managed to sneak past SWMBO, without being caught"?! 😆 😉 😀

@walkingthedog
Brian, I was criticising the Amazon Alexa. I want to make that perfectly clear. I was just saying that in my very small experience of using these devices, that they do not what I think they should do. Perhaps I was not using the correct tone of voice, I don't know. For me though, it did not work, but I was not criticising it.

Your renaming of this topic is very funny! If she asks you where it came from, tell her it fell from the sky! 😆 😉 😀

@howbiman
No, I don't have an Alexa and if I did, I am unsure exactly what I would do with it! They are quiet expensive and I would spend the money on my hobbies, to be honest with you.
I have tried using an Alexa that belonged to a friend and it didn't what I asked it to do. Perhaps this was becuase I was not used to the device. I am unsure of the reason why, but I don't want one and I don't feel that I need one.

Those Amazon Alexa's don't work. They never understand what you say and then end up predicting what you say, which is completley the opposite to what you tell them to do. It's like voice controls in cars. Those never work either.

@Jimyjames
Thank you. 😀
The dark red and yellow diesel shunter is Dart. He works at the Vicarstown Dieselworks. I suspect your BR Blue Diesel Shunter is a Class 06? Dart is Bagnall Shunter and there are not many Hornby Bagnall Shunters about. Hornby have released many Class 06's, so I imagine you have ome of these? I have three Class 06's.
The Class 06 and Bagnall are very similar, especially the Hornby models. They are the same height, width and length, plus they have the same motor and chassis.
