  1. @Jimyjames

    Thank you. 😀

The dark red and yellow diesel shunter is Dart. He works at the Vicarstown Dieselworks. I suspect your BR Blue Diesel Shunter is a Class 06? Dart is Bagnall Shunter and there are not many Hornby Bagnall Shunters about. Hornby have released many Class 06's, so I imagine you have ome of these? I have three Class 06's.

The Class 06 and Bagnall are very similar, especially the Hornby models. They are the same height, width and length, plus they have the same motor and chassis.

I like the Hornby RailRoad Class 9F's. They are well detailed, but not too much that I am afraid of holding it and damging it. I have one, in the form of Murdoch. I like all of the detailing of him and there's more detail on the model than there is on him from the TV series, so that's a plus in my eyes!  😉 😀

    Also, I don't mind the under-cab pipework.

  3. A pre-order of the following:

x1 Hornby Skaledale R9878 RAC Kiosk

I forgot that I pre-ordered Hornby Skaledale R9878 RAC Kiosk and it arrived this morning, from Hatton's Model Railways. It's very well made and painted, as you can see:

It accompanies Hornby Skaledale R9866 AA Kiosk very well, as shown below here:

Brian, I was criticising the Amazon Alexa. I want to make that perfectly clear. I was just saying that in my very small experience of using these devices, that they do not what I think they should do. Perhaps I was not using the correct tone of voice, I don't know. For me though, it did not work, but I was not criticising it.

  9. @howbiman

No, I don't have an Alexa and if I did, I am unsure exactly what I would do with it! They are quiet expensive and I would spend the money on my hobbies, to be honest with you.

I have tried using an Alexa that belonged to a friend and it didn't what I asked it to do. Perhaps this was becuase I was not used to the device. I am unsure of the reason why, but I don't want one and I don't feel that I need one.
