I'm a first time member. The first square on the passport has the image of a flying hour on it. Does that mean that the first flying hour is already given to you and you just need to fill the rest in as appropriate to the model you want, or is the image there just to show you where to put the first one? Having wondered about whether or not I should join the Airfix Club I received membership as a surprise Christmas present. I didn't already have the Kate model so was happy to receive that and wanted a copy of the Airfix model list book so I was pleased to receive that too. It also gives me the opportunity to trade in the flying hours I have collected. On the other hand, I though the magazine was a bit underwhelming. Overall (considering I didn't pay for it!) I'm pleased with it, but the Hawks don't float my boat, so will I renew it at the end of the year...? Decisions, decisions...

Thanks, Ratch. I knew the prototype kit was different from the later 1970s production model but I wasn't sure if that 70s model was being reissued as the Concorde Gift Set. I can see from the 2nd link that it is the 70s kit being reissued. Ed

Does anyone know if the Concorde gift set being advertised is the same moulding as Airfix's previous 1/144 production model? I see the decals are different, but is it the same kit? Thanks, Ed
