    It's more accuate and due to the use of humbrol colours not the old airfix range.

    My money is on either a liberator, of a Hampden. Would take either.

    You can always add matt varnish after. I mean you need a gloss varnish for the decals anyway.

    Wouldn't say it is a bad kit, but it most certainly needed replacing.

    Just going to ask for some vintage classics cars. namely the pre war stuff. I just don't think a normal 60/70s car is desirable enough to have loads of business. the pre war stuff is just better too.

    Yes, but in this case it is a heller kit released under the airfix name when humbrol and heller were under the samer ownership, and then after the relationship broke down, several heller molds were sold or leased to revell.

    The best place to look would be either the airfix tribute forum as they have an almost complete list of Airfix instructions, or scalemates, who also have an instruction list area but is nowhere near as complete as the ATF.

    Best leave it for amodel. The majority of customers of airfix want spitfires and tiger tanks. Wouldn't mind one though.

    How about a line of 1950s and 60s sports and racing cars in 1/24. Stuff like Cortinas and lister Jaguars.

    And remember- the fabric body will need to be matt and the rest gloss.

    Depending on what you build, I would buy some hattaka or vallejo paint packs. better quality. Expensive upfront but gives you all you need. Humbrol paints are really lacklustre now.

    Copied from T2B: "Yes you can get into the Club page, using the Airfix Club icon about half way down the homepage, not the Join Airfix Club at the top of the page. But there are currently no activities within the Club area, it may take a while to get going properly!" Couldn't put it better myself.
