Fishmanoz
We now have Colin, KevC and BritinVanCA all saying they can’t delete posts and threads using the menu from Chrome. Other browsers seem to work. I have no problem with Safari from iPad, can’t remember with Edge. Seems like an IT issue?
P-Henny
Just posted a test post using my Android Chrome browser. Then deleted it with no issues.

Rog RJ
I've just posted, edited and then deleted a test post with no trouble at all using Chrome on Samsung tablet.
Going Spare
Test post via Google Chrome on Windows 11 laptop edited and deleted with no issues (not even having to double-click on either function which was once the case).
LTSR_NSE
I never have an issue accessing 3 dot menu or editing/deleting posts in safari or chrome on iPad Air or iPhone 7.I always use private/incognito browser tabs since I loathe cookies & especially the problems corrupted ones cause.Have those experiencing issues tried clearing cookies/browser history to ensure their issues aren’t a result of cookie corruption? Fishmanoz
So it works for some and not for others. Good luck to IT fixing it.
ellocoloco
Tested using Chrome on laptop running Windows 8. Deleted successfully.
P-Henny
I concur with LT&SR.I find that clearing browser cache & data solves all sorts of online browsing issues. Sometimes I can go months without having to do this, then at other times it is something done more than once in a day. Not all issues seen are necessarily on the Hornby.com site. Brew Man
I've never had a problem with the 'Three dots' menu either. Running Win 10 and using Chrome. Just created a test post and successfully deleted it.
Brew Man
Out of interest, how does a failure manifest itself?
P-Henny
@Brew ManAlthough I have never seen it myself, I believe from other posts published previously that have also raised the issue, it is just a case of nothing happening when clicking the 'Delete' button. Same thing has been also reported with the 'Edit' button.
Fishmanoz
ColinB has made a point of this resulting from being asked to delete multiple posts and he can’t.
ntpntpntp
Interesting that on my nice new Windows 11 laptop running Edge browser the dropdown to edit a post refuses to do anything and just ignores me. I can get it to bring up the post for editing only if I right-click and launch the "Edit" operation in a new browser tab.Never had any problems editing posts on my other PCs using Chrome. 96RAF
I have one Win10 PC running Edge that requires a double click to engage the context menu options. The other Win10 PC requires 1 click as do the iPads.Flagged to IT.
