Loco Detection availability - Let's start a sweep

RDS

Recommended Posts

There has been a lot of discussion regarding LD availability. Is it time we had a sweep. Just a date required. My guess: 7/5/2016

Only posts containing a valid date will be considered for this thread. If you wish to discuss something else with regard loco detection, please raise a new thread. Posts that are not 'guess dates' will be removed.

This could create plenty of interest / amusement. If you haven't submitted your entry yet, don't leave it too late.

If its not before april, PJ, a lot of the market will be under threat. john

I totally agree John

Also they will be heading into the quietest part of the year. Our business was in the hobby sector, we found the year divided into three periods. September to Christmas the peak season, increasing week on week. The second highest period was January to Easter, the winter period, people spend time and money on hobbies, then Easter to September people go out, the weather is better, they go on holiday, they do jobs in the garden so trade drops, understandably.

If they don't hit the before Christmas period they must, I feel, hit early in the new year. People will risk spending more up to Christmas, especially if they think stocks could be in demand or limited.

Come on Hornby.

Not really bothered myself. Still plenty of other things to do. I'll probably never see it anyway, whenever it comes out.

Hi Graskie

Some will want it, some won't. That is understandable. What is importrant is, what ever we choose to do, we enjoy our hobby.

I won't see Loco Detection either Graskie!

The sensors are hidden in the sleepers, the wires under the board and the software works in the background.

Unseen ;o)

Lets hope someone with inside information lets the cat of the bag. Someone picked my date 1st of april 2015.

But lets go with 21st March 2015 .

Good morning Phul007

Sadly it was me but, I said...

I will say a date I am sure it won't be, April 1st 2015

But would be happy with any date before this, preferrably any date before 31 December 2014

I Wish!
