Sailorman
Name the first Airfix kit you remember buying (and when) and the most recent one. In my case it was the Santa Maria some time around 1962 and the Hawker Typhoon a few months ago.

96RAF
Ferguson grey tractor followed by 4.5 L green Bentley, which I tried to motorise in the days before small motors and Scalextric - circa 1955.I then went on to spend all my pocket money every Saturday on Airfix land, sea and air bagged kits until aero modelling took over the budget, before I joined the RAF as an apprentice in 1960.All the rest is history. Shaughan
Fireball XL5, Airfix produced for Lyons Maid. Zoom lollies I think you had to eat to amass enough tokens to get it. This led to Stingray and then to all things Airfix. By then I had a interest in war gaming. I could buy two or three tanks one day and have them on the frontline the next. It takes me a month or more to do one thing now. Lol. Probably to a better standard now though (that’s my excuse)

Heather Kavanagh
I have a vivid memory of helping my dad build the Fairey Rotodyne. I also recall a bagged Northrop F5 from Woolworths. The latest is a Lancaster B.MkII. Not my usual 1940 fare, but it’s going to be converted to a Manchester and donate a pair of engines to a Saro Lerwick vacuum formed kit.
