I assume those are your first O gauge locomotives, Brian (walkingthedog)?

Hugo is a Schienenzeppelin or Rail Zeppelin from Germany, Essencept. What are saying looks odd; AndyThomas' custom OO gauge model, or Hugo in general from the Thomas & Friends TV series?

On my bealf, you are very welcome Ratch. 😉 😀

I'm guessing you have kept some OO gauge track, to run those four locomotives that you have kept, Brian (walkingthedog)?

I did not know you had one, Brian (walkingthedog). I would love one.

Great image Brian (walkingthedog). Thank you. 😉 😀
That's not City of Truro, on the top shelf, is it?

Very work, Ratch. That small dispay scene on that short length piece of wood, looks very good and very realistic. Great work! 😉 😀

Let me guess why; Coronavirus? Of course it is! What a silly question! 😆 😉 😀

That's very sad to read Brian (walkingthedog). I rather liked your OO gauge layout. It had good detail on it. 😀
Which OO gauge locomotives have you kept on display, out of interest?

I like the sound that trains* produce though. It's very charming to listen to.
* When I say trians, I mean in a general concept, as high speed train, diesel or electrical multiple unit or a locomotive pulling coaches and / or wagons (Rolling stock).

Don't forget, tooling, scaling and licenses involved add to the cost of kits. This Airfix starterKIT also includes brushes, piant and glue, as well as the parts to build the car. I don't think the price tag too bad and I am sure that kit will be found cheaper at model shops.

Oh cool. Thanks for that hyperlink, Ratch. 😉 😀
I did not realise the giant real life scale Airfix Spitkit kit, that created for his 'James May's Toy Stories' TV series, is still in existance. I thought it was dismantled, like the real life scale LEGO house was.

I hate seeing closure of model shops, so by model shops stocking products exclusive to them, encourages sales by the general public
I don't know wh many people directly from Hornby Hobbies, for models. They are sold at the RRP and you can always find the product want at a model shop cheaper. I can understand however, people buying directly from Hornby Hobbies, wanting to be Collector Club member and to buy other memorabilia non-model railway products, such as mugs, pens and pin badges.

I just found this post again and missed two other replies that I never saw. I do apologise, Mar Mallard. 😀
What would you like a picture of? The wonky wheels?

These were released for exclusive model shops to buy and sell only. It is not a backwards step, as it encourages people to buy from model shops that they have never purchased from, or very rarely purchases from. These exclusive train sets and train packs, helps to keep modle shops in business.

@Paul Brown
Well at least trders were able to get their money back.
@Ratch
Great pictures, Ratch. Thank you for posting them. 😉 😀
I don‘t know a massive amount about aircrafts, which may explain why I am asking this question; Are those aeroplanes really aircrafts or large real life scale kits, similar to what James May made with the help of other people, in his 2009 TV series, James May’s Toy Stories.

5,000 people under one roof is a lot of people, but it still is not as many as the Cheltenham Festival gets in attendance.

I am surprised they cancelled a model show. I am sure it wouldn't have had as many attendees, as the Cheltenham Festival has and that still went ahead.

Cancelled due to what, or has no reason for cancellation been provided? Probably has something to do with the Coronavirus, I imagine.

Please come when your layout is finished, Brian (walkingthedog). I would also love to see what you build. 😀

No, not to my knowledge, but let's see what some other member's say. Hopefully that will be soon.

It will take a while I should think, to save up for a new locomotive, with those prices! 😆 😉 😀
I hope you do not leave the Hornby Forum. You are a valuable asset to this forum. 😀

@walkingthedog
Will you not miss OO Gauge? I think I would, if I decided to change gauge. O Gauge is certainly remarkble in it's level of deatil, but so are some of the OO Gauge models. The biggest probably is with O Gauge is the cost of the models and how much space it all takes, so the same board containing a O Gauge will have less running space, than the same size boardhaving OO Gauge track on it. I am sure you know that already, Brian.

Any pictures of those kits please, Patrick Camilleri? Thank you in advanced. 😀
