Nearly time for the final comparison between the Revell & Airfix Shackletons... /media/tinymce_upload/41a9c2df15392d6867c8498fea1a0b58.jpg One sticking point, Revell's doesn't come with the latter style prop tip decals - you have to paint them (red and white, oh my). Fortunately for those who remember her Airfix sister MR.2 build - I didn't use all the decals.. /media/tinymce_upload/1f8b0e0f9eb3c1fe6b7395d45e57b8c3.jpg So does this make her a Revell/Eduard/Airfix Hybrid?

Thank you James - not sure about the other 110 - but I'm certainly thinking of getting another Dapol kit - - Schools Class or Evening Star??? I've done the entire BofB/WC class from Hornby donor's - here's one I renamed earlier.. /media/tinymce_upload/9a2be9b38f9226a351fd893e1acf6b66.jpg The Dapol kits have a plotted history (they were Airfix kits at one point), I'd go for the Schools Class next 😉

Hot off the workbench and from the cold of the East - more Russian Armour and it's not green! It's easy having three kits on the go at once, but it's all the railway commissions that get in the way 😉 With this modern glues (Tamiya Extra Thin etc), I've learn't before paint, let the plane kits have adequate drying time - a few weeks in some cases, as what seems like a perfect invisible seam can be a canyon in a weeks time, hence I appear to have a few kits on the go at once. The Revell Shackleton is a nice kit, but all that rivet detail makes it a pain to get the decals sitting down ( I had to use X-20A in the end). /media/tinymce_upload/fec6386ee4fcbb4153357182ab4c736c.jpg Spoiler - she's no tail sitter either lol

Lovely work @T2B. 😎 I wonder with all your hard work and Airfix's liking of updating twin-engined light/medium bombers - that a new tool appears 😉
