I can tell you it's one of Revell's better kits, it doesn't have a complete interior like Airfix's. So far the only real plus points are the million plus recessed rivets flying in close formation, it's a MR.3 and it comes with Viper's. Minus points so far are fit issues on some parts, glazing is hit and miss quality wise, sink marks, 4 part fuselage and the instructions calling up parts that aren't fitted to the MR.3.

After 16 month's and a complete retool of Revell's Shack MR.3 - there's another Shack on the workbench 😉 /media/tinymce_upload/688347edda611950e6a8b759c657e3ff.jpg Not a patch on Airfix's if I'm totally honest, but 100% better than the old ex-Frog version.

Very nice, I did the new Hurricane tooling back in 2016 - it came with that decal option. I think that's actually the Revell Avro Shackleton MR.3 if I'm not mistaken? It's still on my purchase list!! Yes it is the new Revell one, not the old ex-Frog tooling with a note of apology. You have two versions in the box - Phase 2 and Phase 3. I'm doing the Phase 3 version as it has the Viper engines (you get the different outboard engine fairings in the kit). The Growler is on hold at present, as I'm waiting on some aftermarket from Hannants for her.

Not sure as the Hobby Color Converter app doesn't show that number, but if looks right by your mark one eyeball use it.

I'd been off sick from the beginning of February with Shingles, so I built HMS Buttercup in 2 months. I'd been working on 3 kits at the same over the last week or so including the Seafox..
