  1. Very nice indeed @MikeMart And love the inclusion of the added GWR plates.
  2. All we need now is for Hornby to develop a means of sideloading non-Hornby sound profiles onto the HM7000s…
  3. @LTSR_NSE I totally agree re the Q&A. That’s a very good format, and shows excellent customer engagement. Yes the audio gremlins have struck sometimes but that can be sorted. It’s more the range launches and other PR videos that I was referring to. Not at all trying to have a go, just would love to see them not do themselves any dis-service when we know plenty folk are just waiting to snipe from the sidelines
  4. Sadly the PR side lags behind what I’d expect in a number of ways. Poorly researched web pages, amateurish social media posts, and mediocre product launch advertising. It’s a real shame. In this day and age you just cannot get away with poor quality in these areas. Despite that, still love much of what they do put out. Just need to nail the presentation and professionalism a little more.
  5. Very nice bit of shunting. Love the sound overlay too. Well done. Blink Bonny is running beautifully.
  6. 21T all showing up as pre-orders for me? - Ignore that - just caught the meaning of the thread - must be past my bedtime!
  7. Ah the obligatory UHU! Can almost smell it…. FYI, Arthur’s Seat is a famous hill in Edinburgh, not quite the same name but close!
  8. @TaffsTT Are you using Hornby or Peco track/points?
  9. More info on the magnetic uncoupling experiment please! Sounds fascinating. Hope the Flying Scotsman survived its flight...!
  10. Evening all just a line to say Chris and I have been chuffed to bits with the response to this video. Hugely appreciate the kind comments above on the forum and on YouTube itself. Thoughts and ideas are very welcome for next time! GMD
  11. @Postman On The Rails Exciting stuff. Things are certainly moving on well this Spring
  12. Thanks @TaffsTT We get more sense out of Ted, that’s for sure…! 😂
  13. Thanks GHU, this is a very helpful summary. With there being no sharp line between phases it’s hard to keep track of what’s coming when.
  14. Head over to YouTube and Peachy's channel to see a new conversation-style episode. Looking for plenty feedback and suggestions for future episodes along the same broad lines...
  15. Great to see the work progressing, and thanks for taking the time to explain the wiring system. Always interesting to see how folk manage their control.
  16. @Andrew-372848 Cold? Up here in old Caledonia?? Surely not…😀
  17. Richard from This Way Works has an excellent tutorial on adding lighting to Mk3s, now on YouTube. Well worth a watch.
  18. Really starting to come together Chris. The grass does make such a difference.
  19. Wow - @Tim Allen - that looks awesome. Love the close coupling. And thanks for showing a comparative length photo. Have a feeling I may have left some of my scenery clearances a little tight for that length.
  20. Great summary @96RAF - and nice new avatar too!
  21. @Dodge1965 and @RallymattThanks for the info - if they are indeed now designing the new releases with the full HM7000 experience in mind (BT, Sound and PB) I think that's a really good sign of integrated thinking. We can then hopefully assume on this being replicated in future releases.
  22. Dodge, any space for a powerbank?
  23. Superb workmanship. Really impressed. The simple joy of trains! Well done.
