  1. So you read expand the number of points as scenery 😆
  2. He does actually say he has added points. "decided to expand the number of points"
  3. If you have an idea in your head you can easily make a rough sketch, then lay some track. You can then adaptvas you go.
  4. Could you have possibly made a reverse loop with your changes.
  5. Apart from changing the tight curve could you adapt the coupling yourself, you seem to know what you require?
  6. Saw one in action today. Looked great if not a trifle too fast.
  7. Yep I agree Sarah. Simple matter of reading between the lines.
  8. I've never sealed if using Sandtex. Ordinary emulsion might need it though, but the first coat of emulsion will do the sealing.
  9. Not sure what you mean by how to paint a garage wall. Open tin of suitable paint, Sandtex is excellent, dip in large brush, apply.
  10. Buy some 99% proof isopropyl alcohol IPA. Get it from eBay. Great value. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IPA-99-9-1-LITRE-Lab-Grade-Isopropyl-Alcohol-Isopropanol-1L/141522873981?epid=27031978691&hash=item20f36bae7d:g:ACEAAOSwzrxUsbES

  12. Did they have fibre optic lights or a bulb stuck on the end?
  13. I don't think it is rare. The face is home made in my view, not a Hornby product.
  14. Rob did you have borescopes in your days serving Her Majesty.
  15. No same side as usual. Those who know will know what I mean. 😉
  16. Not just who's on there but who's not 😆
  17. The other forum does have several advantages.
  18. Maybe I need to get out more but who the heck is C G Thomas?
  19. I think you are on the right track BB. I haven't had problems with payment.
  20. I've had mine from last years membership. Not rejoining this year. Were you a 2019 member or have you joined for the first time this year?
  21. It is a matter of choice but my advice is don't bother. Lay the track straight on the ply. Just paint the ply first, both sides and all edges. Any old emulsion paint will do.
