  1. Push some nails halfway into the rock, cut the heads off them, slosh on some PVA then plug the rock into the hill/mountain face.
  2. Oh don't say that LC. I'm meeting him later this month, I'll never hear the end of it. 😆
  3. Totally agree GS. Just because several locos work OK doesn't mean everything will. How tight is the curve. On the curve does the corner of the tender touch the corner of the cab. Are the doors fitted to the cab and tender. If so are they touching on curves. Check the wheel back to back first.
  4. Are you copying me GS or am I copying you 😆
  5. The wheel back to back measurement is wrong, should be 14.5mm. Is it derailing on a curve, if so is the bogie fouling the cylinder. When you say other locos are OK, what are they. A bit more info regarding where it derails would help. I can't see your layout from here. 😀
  6. Ah right. I know what stay alive is.
  7. I should think they will use the tender, might use the coaches as well. KAM??
  8. That makes sense. A shut shed would be a waste of space.
  9. Look at this. Scroll down to 'Livery'. https://www.lner.info/locos/W/w1.php
  10. That's what I reckon. Expecting a reply of D shaped.
  11. I can't find a picture with chains, what shape are they?
  12. This is in the wrong section. Jj you of all people should know this is for the Hornby R&D blog. Surely the doors open. What would be the point of it if they didn't.
  13. Widening is in my view the best idea or use flexi through the bridge.
  14. No Rob he is referring to the other end of the coaches with their own bogies.
  15. Bridge without walls of some description. Don't think so. Probably is some somewhere but would look very odd.
  16. Wouldn't the first one make a terrific detailng kit. I'd definitely buy one.
  17. Have you crossed a train over the points yet? I only ask because I have something similar (not exactly the same) and some locos hit the parapet as they cross.
  18. I apologise. He posted 11 JAN on the other forum.
  19. They are destination boards. /media/tinymce_upload/f8cb5ad233070e3e8e4ebe1516d740eb.JPG
  20. HO models of UK locos are considerably smaller than their OO equivalents so in my view would look odd. I have somewhere an HO TGV and I remember the few times I ran it it looked very small. Are you actually just wanting to know what foreign locos/trains run in the UK.
  21. Perhaps Oxford will change their advice now they are linked to Hornby .
