  1. Thought it might be you that would explain PP.
  2. I couldn't find a picture of it in that scheme but somebody will be along eventually to explain.
  3. They announced them in early October, caused quite a lot of excitement.
  4. If it was me I would try it to see if it works. I have a Bachmann USA sound loco that works with some sound on my DC layout. I don't use Hornby controllers.
  5. I went to the service sheet download and got the part numbers from them.
  6. I reckon they are going to make a new moving vehicle system like Faller.
  7. I agree Roger but I always try and encourage people to look things up for themselves. To be honest if I can do it, anybody can. Even my old mum used to aged 94 😆
  8. You could, but isn't that what this forum is for ? No I don't think it is, that's what Google etc. is for. When that type of question is asked I reckon most of us look it up. Surely the forum is mainly for 'how do I' and 'I'm have a problem with' types of question. 😆
  9. You need X9722 and X6121. Peters Spares has 6121. Both are available on eBay. I looked up the part numbers on here, took a few minutes.
  10. I use wood glue or the cheap PVA from Hobbycraft.
  11. Instant stick isn't always good. I realise PVA joints need holding together with bulldog clips or pegs but it does give time for adjustment, and will not come unstuck later. UHU is also excellent. I use both on my buildings.
  12. Eventually. The loco only appeared a late September.
  13. And the blanking plate smoked. Have the pins on the plate gone in too far so they are touching the chassis?
  14. Did you put the loco fitted with the blanking plate on to a DCC track. If so it will smoke. Non DCC locos cannot run on a DCC layout.
  15. Nice thought Jacob. Do you think they would have sold many?
  16. i have looked up the rough dimensions of a King Class loco and a standard Stobart articulated lorry. LOCO 13ft 6in high. 68ft long. LORRY trailer 13 ft high. 45ft long not including tractor unit. Trailer should be about 7 1/2 long in OO.
  17. Have a look inside the loco or the connection between the loco and the tender. Post some pictures so we can see what is what.
  18. Ultrascale probably make a set that would fit but it is an expensive thing to do. https://www.ultrascale.uk/eshop/products/CAT007#HDCP
  19. The numbers are classes not part numbers so I reckon they should be OK. Difficult to say really. The mods have to draw a line somewhere. You shouldn't say that another company's model of a certain loco is far superior to the Hornby version, and you should definitely not say that another company are cheating or conning you, because they are unable to reply to your criticism. That is my view.
  20. I apologise if my reply is a bit negative, but by adding a wagon you make the loco longer which means it will run better over all types of track.
