  1. Thought the Railway Children was at Haworth on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
  2. If the tender wiring is wrong it wouldn't work on the other loco.
  3. A heritage railway is a fairly common idea. Run what you like when you like.
  4. You bet. He's posted loads of youtube videos.
  5. It's strange that the faulty tender works on one loco but another works on both locos.
  6. Copy the links and paste them in to your browser they work then.
  7. If one tender works on both locos and the other only on one the coupling has to be OK otherwise neither tender would work on the new loco.
  8. I have lots of insufrog points on my layout in the sidings. Hardly ever cause any problems. They are not Hornby, too much plastic.
  9. Phoenix Precision Paints make a series of colours to weather track, sleepers and ballast etc. To be honest just splash on some dirty black/brown paint. It's not an exact art. Have a look where trains stop in a station or where lorries park.
  10. Just watched the video, loco isn't going very fast.
  11. Standard fault finding practice. If you have for instance two identical printers but one won't work, swap the leads over. If the fault stays on the same printer it is faulty, if it moves to the other printer the lead or something the lead is attached to at the other end is faulty.
  12. Have you tried the 'faulty' tender on another loco to see if the fault moves to the other loco with the tender. If it does something in the tender is amiss.
  13. You had a similar problem 5 years ago with a Class 91. I bit more detail would help us.
  14. No I agree they do look different, it's picture trickery Jj. 😉
  15. Points are crossed in any direction particularly in sidings.
  16. Wheels are the same size, I think the angle of the photo makes them look different.
  17. Thanks RDS, "I have an oval track" read differently to me. 😆
  18. Why have you got two controllers for one oval of track. Disconnect on of the controllers and see what happens.
  19. I'm not sure why the Crosti is Railroad as they have a lot of fine detail. I have two Crosti's, Evening Star, plus an ordinary Hornby and Bachmann 9F. I have to look at the tender coupling to see which black 9F is Hornby and which is Bachmann as they look the same detail wise.
  20. The next steps should be take it back and get them to repair it properly.
  21. This might seem a stupid question but what happened to the original bogie?
