  8. I have a Bachmann 9F alongside my four Hornby versions and I can see no difference. They all run very well and look good.

  12. £83 not a lot by present standards. It is heavy and very detailed. Move veeery slowly. The latest Hornby CL08 is £140, that’s another 60 quid.

  18. Heljan are more likely to make a prototype, they have more or less specialised in these.
  19. The wheels have grooves to take the tyres. You either need to remove the tyres, clean the tyres and wheels then replace them OR, remove the tyres and replace with new tyres OR, replace the wheels with wheels without tyres.
  20. Remove them and replace with new ones. Slip a pin or small screwdriver under the tyre to remove it.
